A Team Effort Down at Bounty Bay
The harbor slipway at Bounty Bay has been freshly completed after an impressive three days of dedicated work. Starting on Monday, 21 July, the crew worked from morning until night, making the most of the tides to pour and set the cement.
Even with rain during the first couple of days, the team pressed on without pause. A cement mixer hitched to a tractor made constant trips to collect gravel, which was mixed with cement and water right on site. Once ready, the digger carefully poured the mixture exactly where it was needed.
A True Team Effort
Jayden and Jay each drove tractors nonstop to keep the cement flowing, with Randy stepping in when needed.
Steve operated the digger with steady precision.
Kimiora supported the tractor drivers with mixing duties.
On the ground, Torika, Randy, Shawn, Menno, Jacqui, and Brenda worked together to spread, level, and smooth the cement to ensure a strong, clean finish.
Thanks to this determined effort and great teamwork, the new slipway is complete and ready for use. A big thanks goes out to everyone involved for their hard work and commitment to the project.
