Burning of the Bounty Replica

The community gathered, as it usually does to commemorate Bounty Day, at the Landing. Fair weather, great food and good company made for a very pleasant event as we came together to remember those who came before us. As the sun began to dip behind cliffs Adrianna Christian, currently our youngest Bounty descendant on-Island, set the replica a light.

Fun Fact: Austrias unofficial ’Pitcairn Embassy’ hosted its 4th ever Bounty replica burning in Vienna, where a small, enthusiastic group gathered to celebrate alongside us as well!
